5NP refers to a specific group of points on the outer ear, utilized collectively to manage a range of physical and emotional issues including toxic stress, substance detoxification, chronic pain, anxiety, PTSD, depression, trauma, and shock, among others.
These points can be stimulated using small acupuncture needles or alternatively, with "ear beads" or "ear seeds"—tiny pellets affixed to small adhesive bandages. For more than four decades, 5NP has been employed globally in initiatives focused on harm reduction, recovery, and emergency response.
Guided meditation is a practice where an instructor leads participants through a meditative process, providing detailed instructions on how to relax the body and clear the mind. This method is particularly beneficial for individuals in recovery as it helps to foster a sense of peace, enhances self-awareness, and promotes emotional health.
The benefits of guided meditation for those in recovery include:
Overall, guided meditation offers a supportive tool in the journey of recovery, providing a non-pharmacological way to improve mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
This workshop introduces participants to the innovative and rejuvenating practice of EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), a method embraced by over 20 million users globally. EFT, often described as psychological acupressure, utilizes the same energy meridians as traditional acupuncture but without needles, addressing both physical and emotional issues.
Its effectiveness is supported by over 100 research studies, proving it to be a viable solution for managing anxiety and trauma.
Notably, a study involving first responders—including EMTs, Paramedics, Firefighters, Coast Guard, and Police Officers—highlighted significant benefits of EFT, such as enhanced relationship quality, improved sleep, and overall well-being.
During our workshop, we will cover the Basic Recipe of EFT, progressively introducing new techniques. Each session involves group exercises to clear emotional blockages and concludes with a tapping meditation, promoting relaxation and peace. By the workshop's end, participants will possess a practical tool for coping with anxiety, stress, and burnout, ready to be used anytime it's needed.
